Refund Process

Cancellation & Refund by Melbourne Salsa

Melbourne Salsa reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule activities due to low enrolments or unforeseen circumstances. 

For the context of this Refund Policy, scheduled activities are organised by Melbourne Salsa and its partners. Scheduled activities are considered as, but not limited too, Casual Group Class, Course, Event, Private Lessons and any other type of activity that is not listed.  

Consideration of the Participant 

Participants to any of Melbourne Salsa schedule activities must take into consideration prior to requesting a refund that venue factors, team staffing, food and beverage (if applicable) etc. may have been finalised and confirmed prior to the event and therefore would have incurred considerable and nonrefundable costs to Melbourne Salsa. 

Group classes / Courses / Events Refund & Cancellation policy:
If you pay for a dance class or short course or event in advance, we will refund the fee if:
the program is cancelled, or you can show us medical evidence that the program will cause you physical harm or cause a physical injury.
Non-attendance does not constitute withdrawal.
We do not refund absences. 
No refunds/credits are given for dancers missing classes due to vacation, work commitments, feeling ill, Covid positive/Isolate or simply a change of mind.

Cancellation of dance classes:
Melbourne Salsa reserves the right to change or cancel a lesson up to and including the date of the lesson if insufficient bookings have been received.
In the event of a lesson being altered or cancelled every effort will be made to avoid inconvenience by offering alternative dates, times or venues.

Gift Cards

Please note, we cannot accept refunds on gift cards.

Process

To start a refund, you can contact us at hello@melbournesalsa.com.au

If your refund is accepted, we will notify you and arrange for a refund through the appropriate methods and channels.

If you have purchased the class pass / private lesson package on-line you will be refunded the full amount minus the shopify fee. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
