We are super excited to offer a weekly Shines on 1 and Body movement class every Tuesday at the Melbourne Salsa studio.
Want to add more to your Latin dancing?
This class is open level and designed for dancers that want to explore more than the usual partner work sequence class.
If your goal is to harness the ultimate skills of becoming a Latin dancer with that unique “sabor” this class is essential.
What you will learn:
We will focus on body and footwork patterns done solo without a partner. Elements of various salsa style will be combined to create fun choreography sequences to help dancers develop a repertoire for personal expression.
Body Movement and Gestuality is a system of exercises designed to develop a range of motions, as well as fine control of the entire body. This practice systematically conditions the dancer by isolating body parts and use them individually to respond to music in the desired fashion.
In this class you will learn and refine rhythmical structures such as “Cuban-motion” and more to finally express as dancers the flavours of the Afro – Latin rhythms.
You can purchase our classes online or upon arrival at the venue via cash or card.
